Samantha was born in Pennsylvania and then moved to Williamsburg, Virginia when she was only five years old. She currently lives in Virginia Beach and now works remotely. Samantha graduated from Jamestown High School in 2002 and began her studies at George Mason University. While at Jamestown High School, Samantha attended college-level classes and worked part-time at Busch Gardens. After attending college and returning home to Williamsburg, she began working as a receptionist for a bankruptcy firm in Newport News, Virginia where she quickly realized her passion and desire to grow in the legal field. After becoming a bankruptcy Legal Assistant at this firm, she knew she wanted to continue her education and become a paralegal.
When the law firm she was working with moved to another city, Samantha found a home at Hubbard Law Offices, PC where she remained for 10 years doing personal injury, workers’ compensation, civil, corporate, and some criminal law. While working at Hubbard Law, Samantha finished her associate degree in Paralegal Studies and applied for an advanced degree at Bryant Stratton College, which she completed in February 2022 – just in time for her daughter, Corena, to be born in March 2022.
After having her daughter, Samantha was ready for new opportunities that allowed her to spend more time with her family. Since that time, she has transitioned to Parks Zeigler, PLLC where she will be able to apply her knowledge and skills gained through eighteen years of experience in the legal field. Samantha is excited to be a part of Parks Zeigler and contribute to its continued success.
Outside the law firm, Samantha works as a server/bartender/manager at a small restaurant in Portsmouth, Virginia, and has been with them for 3 years. Samantha enjoys the time talking to customers and her co-workers and considers this her social time as her quality time is spent at home with her family, caring for her daughter and four dogs, enjoying friends, shopping, having coffee and wine dates with friends, and walking around the neighborhood with her daughter.
