Brooke was born in Sturgis, Michigan, and went been back & forth to Hampton Roads since she was six years old. She attended Churchland High School but returned to Michigan her senior year to graduate. Brooke returned to Tidewater in 2000 and attended the Paralegal Certificate Program at Old Dominion University.

Brooke started her legal career as a receptionist at a local law firm and then moved on to be an appeals legal assistant at the Norfolk Public Defender Office for 12 years until relocating to Raeford, North Carolina to work for the District Attorney’s office in Hoke and Scotland County. Upon her return to Hampton Roads, Brooke has worked as a paralegal handling a variety of civil, family, and criminal matters.

Brooke has two children and lives in Portsmouth. Outside of work, she loves the beach, going to concerts, and finally spending time with family and friends.
