Ed Booth Speaks On Shaun Brown Federal Fraud Mistrial

In October of 2018, Virginia congressional candidate Shaun Brown was faced with four federal charges for stealing money from a non-profit that fed needy children during the summer months. She was sentenced to three years in prison and one year of home confinement in March 2019.

Previously in August 2018, Brown’s federal fraud trial ended in a mistrial. This occurred because the jury could not agree unanimously on a verdict—one single juror felt strongly against Brown’s conviction.

Edwin Booth, Parks Zeigler’s personal injury lawyer, spoke about the matter with WTKR, shedding light on a confusing situation for the benefit of the public. At Parks Zeigler, our lawyers are highly trained and trusted by members of the legal community.
