An accomplished paralegal and lifelong Virginia Beach resident with over 16 years of experience, Kate has built a diverse and well‑rounded legal background. She discovered her passion for the legal field early, working part‑time at a Norfolk law firm while attending Bayside High School.
After welcoming her second child, Kate returned to the profession with a solo practitioner, gaining hands‑on experience in divorce, family law, and criminal defense in both state and federal courts. Kate transitioned to a prominent criminal defense firm when her solo attorney retired, supporting attorneys through complex federal cases and multi‑week trials. Her most recent role at an elder law firm expanded her expertise into estate administration and a return to civil litigation. Kate is known for her strong drafting skills, meticulous case management, and ability to support clients through challenging legal processes.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys watching documentaries, spending time with her family, and her dogs.
