Justine was born and raised in the desert of Arizona. After moving around the country, she settled in Virginia and in 2018, began attending Liberty University. Justine graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies in just two and half years.
Upon graduating, she began her legal career as a Trusts and Estates Paralegal at a local Virginia Beach law firm, quickly becoming well-versed in estate and business succession planning and estate administration. Justine’s area of expertise often crossed over into business and corporate law and she assisted clients with entity formation and performed registered agent services.
In 2025, Justine changed her focus from the Estate Planning team to Family and Criminal Law, serving as an integral part of Attorney Shelly F. Wood’s team at our Chesapeake office.
While outside of work, Justine spends nearly all her time with her daughter, Emma. The duo is often found ice skating, attending sporting events, or simply relaxing by the beach together. Justine also enjoys refinishing old pieces of furniture, exploring new places, and learning new things.
