Jennifer was born and raised in Virginia, first in Franklin and then grew up in Suffolk. After graduating from Lakeland High School, she attended Virginia Tech and Old Dominion University before returning to Franklin, where she earned an Associate Degree in Business Management from Paul D. Camp Community College. During that time, Jennifer began working as a bank teller before becoming the Accounting Manager for a local family-owned business.
After getting married and moving to Ivor, Virginia, she joined Smithfield Foods, first in the Accounts Payable Department and later in the Least Cost Department. Her strong work ethic led to the next opportunity—joining a newly formed food brokerage company based in Smithfield. For the past 15 years, Jennifer served as the Office & Customer Service Manager, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and expanding her expertise in business operations and client relations.
Seeking a change, Jennifer found Parks Zeigler, PLLC and was excited by the opportunity to join a technology-forward law firm to contribute her skills and experience in its finance department.
She and her husband, Roland, have lived in Ivor for the past 25 years. They have two sons, Charlie and Ryan, a daughter, Savannah, a son-in-law, Shay, and a beloved cat named Oliver. Jennifer’s family shares a love for baseball and has spent countless weekends and vacations at tournaments—her favorite pastime being cheering on her sons from the stands. Now that their playing days are over, she enjoys watching the games they coach. A lifelong New York Mets fan, she proudly cheers, “LGM!”
