The Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (VAELA) is a non-profit professional association of attorneys which educates its members and others regarding needs and solutions for the elderly, their families, and their caregivers, and advocates for beneficial care and laws for these persons.

Virginia Lawyers Weekly has developed a new list that highlights law firms who have been dedicated to inspiring innovation within their practice. It is an honor to be featured among their first annual publication. This article pointed out our technology-forward legal mechanics that encourage client interaction and firm transparency. Additionally, this publication explains our internal decision to integrate a diverse pool of qualified personnel, which makes us an overall stronger, more well-versed business. We are extremely proud of these features that make us a stand-out firm, and are especially happy to have been included in this list by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.

Using data regarding percentage revenue growth between 2019 and 2022, Inc. has generated a list of 5,000 companies that have demonstrated excellence in the year 2023. It is an honor to be featured among this list, and we are happy to attribute most of our success to the client-focused service of our attorneys. Their dedication to each individual client over ten years of business has allowed for the growth of our firm, our personnel, and our community. We are ranked 4,402 on this year’s list, which showcases national accomplishments, and have seen a 97% growth.

Inc. Regionals: Mid-Atlantic

Inc. produces an annual list of companies that have made a substantial impact within their respective geographic regions. Here at Parks Zeigler, PLLC, we seek to make positive changes in the lives of each individual client; as such, we are extremely proud to be featured on the 2023 list for Mid-Atlantic Companies Making an Outsized Impact. We hope to continue delivering excellent, personalized service to our clientele. We are honored to be ranked 120th on the Mid-Atlantic list overall, seeing an 85% growth in the past three years and being in the top three within the legal industry.

Attorneys who are accredited by Veterans Affairs are prepared to offer excellent legal services toward a wide variety of issues experienced by veterans. These can include, but are not limited to, civil rights, disability, benefits, and possible discrimination. Veterans seeking assistance from attorneys with this distinction can feel confident in the expertise of legal counsel offered; lawyers with this accreditation are well-informed of veterans’ affairs and therefore can offer excellent service.

Additionally, we are ecstatic to celebrate Brandon Zeigler for having been featured on the Top 100 Lawyers list for fifteen years. He continues to offer professional guidance to his clients, solidifying his reputation as an outstanding lawyer in the state of Virginia.

Super Lawyers Magazine is a publication that includes the annual Super Lawyers list. This list distinguishes attorneys who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Parks Zeigler, PLLC is proud that its professional staff includes several attorneys that this honor has been bestowed upon over the years.

This award is a peer-based award and voting is open to any licensed lawyer in Virginia. Virginia Business annually polls more than 14,000 Virginia attorneys, asking them to nominate the best lawyers in each of the 18 practice areas.

Lawyers are allowed to vote for attorneys in their own firms, but they also must vote for an equal number of attorneys outside their firm. “Outside” votes are scored higher than “inside” votes in arriving at a final score for any nominee.

In compiling the Legal Elite list, Virginia Business has profiled representatives from the 16 legal categories. Profile subjects are chosen from the top 10 vote-getters in each category but are not necessarily the attorneys with the most votes in their group. Lawyers who have been profiled before are not considered.

Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Top Lawyers are selected via an annual poll in the legal field to identify regional attorneys who show excellence in their respective fields. This process involves an online peer-voting process coupled with a software developed to identify success characteristics. Not only have all lawyers listed been commended by their peers, but they have also been found in good standing at the time of evaluation. Coastal Virginia Magazines publishes this list as a service to the community, providing readers with a representation of some of our area’s most outstanding legal professionals. We are proud that our attorneys have been recipients of this honor in recent years.
