On Friday, August 1st, the Parks Zeigler team traded in office attire for athletic wear and sunscreen, gathering at Chic’s Beach outside Buoy 44 Seafood Grill for the first annual PZ Olympics. This much-anticipated event brought together attorneys, paralegals, administrative staff, and leadership from the firm’s three offices in VA and NC for a day of connection, competition, and coastal celebration.

The day began with a firm-wide photo at 9:45 a.m., capturing the colorful sea of PZ Olympics t-shirts and PZ people. From there, four spirited teams jumped into a lineup of beach-friendly games that tested everything from speed and skill to strategy and pop culture smarts. Events included a water balloon fight (eco-friendly, of course), Beach Pong (a team favorite), a game of Pepper, sack races, cornhole, and themed trivia.

Laughter echoed across the sand as teams cheered each other on, and occasionally took a tumble, all in good fun. Between the high-energy challenges and trivia rounds, the competition was tight. When the final scores were tallied, the top three teams were awarded PZ Olympics medals in gold, silver, and bronze, celebrating not only performance but the true spirit of teamwork.

Following the games, everyone gathered at Buoy 44 Seafood Grill to unwind over a well-deserved lunch. It was a time to relax, share highlights from the day, and appreciate the strong sense of community that defines life at Parks Zeigler.

At its core, the PZ Olympics is more than just a day at the beach. It’s a celebration of who we are. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success. We can’t wait to do it again next year.

Let the countdown to PZ Olympics 2026 begin!
