The weekend is just around the corner and we are looking forward to some great happenings in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Suffolk! If you’re not sure what to do, we can help. Take a look below to see what we are looking forward to!
Virginia Beach Honey Festival
The Virginia Beach Farmer’s Market is hosting the Honey Festival this Saturday from 10 AM – 4 PM. In addition to the variety of locally produced honey, there will be crafts, children’s activities, and live music. If you have questions about bees and honey, local beekeepers will be there to answer them!
Game of Thrones Improv
This Saturday The Push Comedy Club will be hosting a Game of Thrones-themed improv night. Tickets are $10 and it begins at 8 pm. Similar to the show, the content is not suitable for children. The Push Comedy Club always offers great laughs and is located right in the middle of the NEON District.
Watercolor Exhibit at the Chrysler
This weekend is the last chance to explore Watercolor: An American Medium, an exhibit on display at the Chrysler Museum. The exhibit offers an informative and beautiful look into watercolor paintings produced at the height of the medium's popularity in American art between 1870-1940. Entrance into the museum is free.
TGIF Summer Concert Series
Free music is happening all summer long in Suffolk at Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina, and Bennet’s Creek Park. This Friday you can check out The Fuzz Band for free. They take the stage at 6:30 PM at Constant’s. It’s a family-friendly event, so bring the kids!
Nauticus: 25 Years On The Norfolk Waterfront
The Nauticus in Norfolk is turning 25 this weekend, and there will be a party to celebrate! Admission is free for kids 12 and under with a paying adult, and they’ll also receive a free souvenir while they last, so get there early! There will be music, games, and family-friendly activities.
We hope you have a great weekend!
