Disney+ Accounts Hacked Day of Launch

Disney + accounts were hacked. Thousands of Disney+ Accounts Hacked

Disney+ launched to much fanfare last week on November 12th, attracting an impressive 10 million subscribers on the first day. But hours after the service launched, the platform began experiencing technical difficulties. Users began complaining on Twitter and other web forums such as r/DisneyPlus that their accounts were hacked, and this has been confirmed by ZDNet.  As of right now, it is not clear how so many accounts (thousands apparently) were breached so quickly.

Disney has not made a public announcement about the incident. If you have a Disney + account, we recommend checking to see if you still have access and making sure your password is strong. It would be wise for Disney to allow two-factor authentication moving forward.
