Attorneys Nathalie D. Lezcano Beitia and Don Koluch Compete at Beachside Network’s Pickleball Social in Virginia Beach

Attorneys Nathalie D. Lezcano Beitia and Brandon “Don” Koluch recently traded legal briefs for pickleball paddles, joining the Beachside Network’s Pickleball Social in Virginia Beach. The tournament drew an impressive 21 teams and 42 players, along with about 16 enthusiastic spectators ranging from local business owners and sponsors to supportive fans. The lively atmosphere was enhanced by delicious food and beverages, making it a true community gathering.
In addition to the spirited matches, attendees enjoyed raffle prizes and a unique Cold Plunge experience; a hot tub–style setup cooled to 50 degrees, perfect for recovery and cooling off.
The Beachside Network, founded in January 2024 by Alexandra Harrison of ADP and her mother Linda, a local realtor, was created as a fresh alternative to traditional networking groups. With a focus on building genuine relationships and giving back, the organization quickly grew under the leadership team, which also includes Eric Kline and other dedicated members. The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the One Presidential Mortgage office for a “Coffee and Connect” session from 9:00–10:30 a.m.
Each Beachside Network social event supports a charitable cause. Past beneficiaries include the SPCA, Angel Trees for families in need, and for this tournament Virginia Beach Fallen Heroes, chosen by the winners. The event’s mission was clear: bring businesses together in a way that fosters collaboration, encourages friendships, and benefits the community.
Nathalie and Don embraced the energy of the day, competing with enthusiasm and connecting with fellow participants on and off the court. Their participation underscored Parks Zeigler’s ongoing commitment to community involvement and meaningful connections.
The Pickleball Social proved that networking doesn’t always happen in boardrooms, sometimes it’s best served up on the court, with a paddle in hand and a shared purpose at heart.
