Peach Stuff for dessert!

Peach DessertsWe are not sure where this family favorite came from, but we have been making this since the early 80’s! It’s one of Cara’s favorites and even though I do not care for fruit pies or cooked fruit in general, I do like this.


  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c Bisquick
  • 1 c milk ½ c butter
  • 1 can peach pie filling


  1. Pre-heat oven to 375°.
  2. Place 1 stick of butter in a deep dish (3 quart or so) and place in oven to melt. (Be sure you do not “cook” it, just melt it.) 
  3. Mix sugar, Bisquick, and milk together. Pour into baking dish with melted butter.
  4. I gently stir it just a tish Take spoonfuls of the peach filling and drop into the batter, don’t forget to scrape out all the gel in the can!
  5. Bake for 30 mins or until top is browned.

We eat this hot out of the oven & sometimes with a scoop of ice cream to melt and make it extra creamy.
