We are not sure where this family favorite came from, but we have been making this since the early 80’s! It’s one of Cara’s favorites and even though I do not care for fruit pies or cooked fruit in general, I do like this.
Ingredients:
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c Bisquick
- 1 c milk ½ c butter
- 1 can peach pie filling
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 375°.
- Place 1 stick of butter in a deep dish (3 quart or so) and place in oven to melt. (Be sure you do not “cook” it, just melt it.)
- Mix sugar, Bisquick, and milk together. Pour into baking dish with melted butter.
- I gently stir it just a tish Take spoonfuls of the peach filling and drop into the batter, don’t forget to scrape out all the gel in the can!
- Bake for 30 mins or until top is browned.
We eat this hot out of the oven & sometimes with a scoop of ice cream to melt and make it extra creamy.
