This includes the initial negotiation and drafting of purchase agreements and loan commitment letters, continues with analyzing surveys, title insurance commitments, and other due diligence items as well as the negotiation and drafting of loan and security documents, and concludes with the closing, recordation of documents and issuance of the title policy.
Richard Biemiller, the principal partner in this practice area, is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina and has handled a wide variety of commercial transactions in both states. He has even been involved in several transactions where the subject property straddled both states. He has worked on transactions involving shopping centers and out parcels, residential subdivisions, single-family investment properties, duplexes, and apartment buildings, as well as all types of UCC collateral (e.g., accounts, inventory, equipment, and general intangibles) secured loans.
