If you apply for a job, be sure your credit report is clean.

Credit reports and job applicationsHave you been turned down for a job after having a great interview and wondered why? Did you allow them to pull your credit report?

Most employers are not interested in your credit score, but rather what is being reported on your credit report such as late payments as indicative of your overall responsibility level.  You should always be aware of what is on your credit report and how it can affect your employment search.  Any negative employment decision based on your credit report requires a disclosure by the employer under the FCRA.

If you would like to schedule an appointment to review the errors on your report, please feel free to contact Parks Zeigler, PLLC at 1 (888) 691-9319.
