Brooke was born in Sturgis, Michigan and has been back & forth to the Hampton Roads area since she was six years old. Brooke attended Churchland High School but returned to Michigan her senior year to graduate. She returned to Tidewater in 2000 and attended the Paralegal Certificate Program at Old Dominion University.
Brooke started her legal career as a receptionist at a local law firm and then moved on to be an appeals secretary at the Norfolk Public Defender’s Office for a period of 12 years until she decided to relocate to Raeford, North Carolina to work for the District Attorney’s office in Hoke and Scotland County. Upon her return to Hampton Roads, she worked as a paralegal in a variety of civil, family, and criminal matters.
Brooke resides in Portsmouth with her two children. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys going to the beach and concerts. She has a weakness for tacos and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
