Background and Education
Morgan was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. After undergrad, Morgan decided it was time to fulfill her dream of living on the East Coast and attended William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia.
During law school, Morgan was a member of the Business Law Review and Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team where she was trained in arbitration, negotiation, and mediation. After three years in Virginia, Morgan decided she wanted to make it her permanent home.
Experience
After graduating from law school Morgan spent a year as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge Mary Jane Hall and the Honorable Judge Jerrauld C. Jones in the Norfolk Circuit Court. Morgan learned a lot during her clerkship about various areas of law and how the Court handles cases that come before it.
Becoming Part of Parks Zeigler
Morgan met Kellam Parks in 2018 during her clerkship when Kellam was assigned as her mentor through the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. Morgan was looking to join a firm upon the conclusion of her clerkship and, after learning about Parks Zeigler from Kellam, knew it would be the perfect place to continue her legal career.

Community Involvement
Morgan is a Board Member for the Hilltop YMCA. She is also a Committee Member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association.
More About Morgan
Away from the office, Morgan enjoys being active and spending her time with her Husband, family, and friends. She enjoys golfing, scuba diving, going to the beach, and traveling. Although she loves Virginia, Morgan misses her family in Colorado and loves visiting her home state to hike, ski, and spend time with her two younger brothers.
