Judy was born in Charleston, South Carolina and moved to Hampton, Virginia as a small child. She graduated from Phoebus High School in 1984. In the late-90’s she began working as a receptionist for a small law firm in Chesapeake and, as the firm grew, she was offered a position as a legal assistant. Judy quickly realized she had found her calling and passion for helping people.
Judy came to Parks Zeigler, PLLC from a mid-size law firm in Norfolk, Virginia, where she worked for 13 ½ years as a legal assistant. While there, Judy’s worked underneath two attorneys with a focus on insurance defense; one of those attorneys being David Littel who joined Parks Zeigler, PLLC in 2017. David is pleased to have Judy back working with him, this time as a paralegal.
Judy is married to a Tugboat Captain and has one daughter who works for a local Neurologist. She loves the Washington Redskins, going to the Richmond Nascar races, going to Hatteras Village to the beach, and visiting the boats as they return for the day with their local catch. Judy especially loves her animals; her now-elderly chocolate Labrador Retriever, Skerray, and her crazy Snowshoe Siamese cat, Luna.
