Kelly was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and graduated from Northampton County High School. In 1993, Kelly moved to Maryland’s Eastern Shore, where she began working as a legal assistant and licensed titled agent for a prominent real estate law firm on Kent Island. In 2005, her husband’s career relocated their family to Colorado. Kelly continued to work as a title agent in Colorado. The stunning views of the mountains inspired her to be adventurous, exploring, and taking day hikes through the many scenic trails in her spare time.
Kelly and her family decided to return to the East Coast in 2008 and moved to Virginia Beach, where she immediately found employment as a legal assistant at a large Virginia Beach law firm. During her tenure, she was assigned to three attorneys spread across three different practice areas and was awarded two of the firm’s significant performance and achievement awards. Working with Allison Anders while in that position furthered her interest in family law and sparked her desire to assist clients through some of their most sensitive situations. When Allison came to Parks Zeigler, PLLC, Kelly joined her as a family law paralegal and is dedicated to providing the firm’s clients with a positive experience during what can be a very challenging time in their lives.
When she is not at work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. Her oldest son has a career in retail management, and her youngest son is in college studying computer science. Kelly is close to her family and enjoys weekend shopping trips and lunches with her mother and sister. She also enjoys weekend visits with her in-laws in Maryland. During the summer months, the family often travels to the Eastern Shore for boating, fishing, kayaking, and picnics at the beach with family and friends.
