Cheri was born and raised in Upstate New York, relocating with her family to the Roanoke Valley in March 2008. She holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from Siena College, Loudonville, New York, where she graduated with honors and an Associates of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Schenectady County Community College, Schenectady, New York. Cheri has worked as a paralegal for the past sixteen years primarily in Family Law and Personal Injury Law.
Outside of work, Cheri enjoys spending time with her husband, Ray, grown son, Timothy, and her canine baby Yorkie, Eddie. She also enjoys watching crime dramas & documentaries, crocheting, and getting together with friends. Cheri is passionate about stamping out bullying in schools and elsewhere and is currently working on a project to educate young children on this subject.
