We were sad to hear about the loss of Robin Williams. If there is a silver lining to his passing, it is the open dialogue occurring concerning depression as an illness. It has also created great discussion on his body of work and what character, what movie, or what standup comedy routine was a favorite. It is hard to pick just one - he was unforgettable in so many roles. He ranged from creepy in One Hour Photo and Toys to lovable as Jack and Patch Adams. He was everyone’s dream teacher in Dead’s Poet Society, favorite dad in Mrs. Doubtfire, and arguably the best character in the animated film Aladdin. The list goes on and on.
What’s your favorite performance by Robin Williams? If I had to pick just one, it is Good Will Hunting. One of the best scenes is the park scene about life, trust, and going forward. http://goo.gl/uvksBk. Take time to revisit his work and re-experience the brilliance that will forever be Robin Williams.
